1. Verify role
Confirm whether the company is the actual manufacturer, a wholesaler, exporter or sourcing partner for the exact product.
2. Ask for sample
Check fabric GSM/composition, shrinkage, colourfastness, stitching, embroidery, measurements and finishing.
3. Fix commercial terms
Confirm MOQ, catalogue/set requirement, price basis, GST, freight, payment terms and lead time in writing.
4. Private label
For contract work, confirm sampling, patterns, labels, packaging, ownership of designs and repeat-production tolerance.
